BART Station Bus Tickets

Did you know that BART doesn’t run early enough to get you to the Berkeley Half Marathon Start Line? Don’t fret! The Berkeley Half Marathon is offering early morning bus service from five BART stations around the Bay Area to accommodate you green-minded runners. If you want to travel by BART because you don’t have a car, want to beat the traffic, or need a simple transportation plan, buy a bus ticket today! Plentiful free parking is available at each busing location except for Civic Center.

Our buses will transport runners from the following BART stations on Race Morning to the Start Line of the Race: Walnut Creek, Fremont, El Cerrito Plaza, MacArthur, and Civic Center. After you cross the Finish Line, BART will be running normally. Buy a BART ticket, hop on and head home.
